We all know about Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath, but often overlooked is Humble Pie. They had a really raw sound that I really liked.

Peter Frampton and Steve Marriott started Humble Pie in late '67, early 68. Marriott came from the band, "The Small Faces". When he left, to go with Pie, they hired some new kid named Rod Stewart, to take Marriott's place. Wink
