Black Sabbath - Ozzy or Dio?

I was just playing some Sabbath, Paranoid, and although I've always dug it, it got me thinking...I kinda prefer Sabbath with Dio.

Hey I like your avatar,might should've said we have kool-aid.Back to the Q?Both singers are stellar in their own right.I was 15 yrl old the first time I heard Paraniod,it caught me big time and the riff's were like nothing I had ever heard before.At that time bought the 8-track and played it over and over.And of coarse this is when my Dad said"She is listening to devil music."Dam,I resented that because I had just found the best music in the world.I did anything and everything to rebel at this point!Without going into detail and beleive me there are lots of details,this music is what made me the fine person I am today!!!

It's a crunch of a call Mindy, I can't decide.
I love the way backness of Paranoid.
However.......Dio on Heaven & Hell rules.

Dio for me as a personal preference, but you can't go wrong with classic Ozzy/Sabbath either.

It's kind of a Van Halen type question for me. Roth or DLR? Ozzy or Dio? I like all four front men.

It's not even close in terms of vocal ability. Dio trumps Ozzy easily. Both "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules" are just as good, if not better, than the "classic" era of Sabbath (which I also like).

Agreed.

Dio is one of my favorite vocalists ever. Also feel that Sabbath with Dio was just as good if not better with him.

Still Ozzy was first and there are some killer tracks not to be dismissed and the most known as Sabbath. The success resurrecting the Heaven and Hell lineup shocked me and in a good way!
