| He was, and actually still is, Journey. No matter who they get to try and sound like him, as long as they're still relying on his vocal sound and the musical identity that his voice gave them he will always be Journey. They've proved that they're capable of nothing original without him. | |

Hallelujah! Can't agree more. Since the latest debacle, I find myself listening to the stuff with SP more than have the last couple of years. Amazing. I know this subject has been beaten TO DEATH, but to hear him do something new (solo-not as BG vocals) would be awesome!!! | |

But even if he doesn't he still gave us the most incredible vocals on record and they can never be replaced or replicated by any other singer. | |
