Favorite song by them was Do It Again. I remember going to high school dances when a band called "Classical Vantage" played it. Sweet memories.

I am a major SD fan. My brother knew one of the sax players who toured with them about 5 or 6 years ago and I got to go backstage. Of course, Fagen and Becker are already in their limos on the way to the airport by then. Evil or Very Mad

Fagen's solo stuff is fantastic, too. The Nightfly is one of the best albums ever made, IMO.

I was going to say that I'm not too familiar with them, but after looking them up on You Tube, I can't believe all the songs that I know by them. I used to love this one:

You need to go buy the Steely Dan album Aja and listen to it beginning to end.

It's funny. As I'm typing this, I'm listening to "Hey Nineteen".

Yeah, Aja, is my favorite SD album. I used to play along with it, from beginning to end. Another great album, IMO, is "The Nightfly", a mid-eighties release by Donald Fagen. The weird thing is that Walter Becker also, contributed to the album, but they didn't bill it as being from "Steely Dan".
