| OK... if you've been to myspace site, you know I follow these guys religiously. Main reason is the guest stars they have each and every show.
The Core group is made up of Dave Navarro, Matt Sorum, Chris Cheney, Billy Morrison & Donovan Leitch. Scott Weiland 'was' a core member, but since he kinda had a falling out with Matt, I don't think we'll see him again. But the fun part is each and every show has at least 5 guest artists that come in and do a song or two. I've seen, 5 inches away from each time:
Steve Issacs (Panic Channel), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Johnny Fayva (doing Paranoid... yikes!), Ben Lee, Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Elan, Tony Kanal (No Doubt), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray, Extra), Warren De Martini (Ratt), Terri Nunn (Berlin), John Taylor (Duran Duran), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), CC Deville (Poison), Macy Gray, Lars Ulrich & Robert Trujilo (Metallica), Mike Bordin (Faith No More, Ozzy Osbourne), Jeremy Colson (Steve Vai) and Steve Vai, Joe Satriani (Deep Purple, Steve Vai), Slash (GNR, Velvet Revolver), Duff McKagan (GNR, Velvet Revolver), Benji Madden (Good Charlotte), Robby Krieger (The Doors), Cypress Hill, Susie McNeil, Jordis Unga & Ty Taylor (from Rockstar: INXS).Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Mickey Einziger (Incubus), Annabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow), Cherie Currie (the Runaways), Vivienne Cambell (Def Leppard), Rob Zombie (who thwacked me in the head with his dreads..LOL), John 5, AJ Popoff, Billy Duffy (the Cult), Linda Perry (4 Non Blonds), Michael Des Barres, Leif Garrett, J.S. Clayden (Pitchshifter), Courtney Love (Hole), Lemmy (Motorhead).
No two shows are ever alike, and you've no clue who they're gonna ask guest star. I missed Steven Tyler...that would have kicked ASS being 5 inches from him. Anywho...
There's 5 glorious shows at the Roxy next month, and I've VIP tickets (sound check, meet & greet) to all shows. Boo fu**ing ya. Pictures will be posted...oh yes.

How was the show when Steve Stevens played?, he's Hubby Bubs fave axeman. Ah...that was at the Orange County Center for Performing Arts. That one was a private show, and the core group of fans that go to EVERY show they do .... sneak in. That was a lot of fun, in and of itself. My buddy Lee and I did something or other for the road manager, waiting for some chick and escorted her back, and that got us passes in. Great fun. Again, brilliant performance by Steve. He did Cat Scratch Fever with Mark McGrath, as well as the closing number. That show got me within 5 inches of Chester Bennington again, and that boy just WAILS...love him. Macy Gray was at that as well, and I liked her much better that evening than I've ever heard her before.

| They're doing some benefit too, gotta search out the info again, but prices looked unbelievable. It's honoring Slash and Alice Cooper...here: Blind Melon (Glen Graham, Brad Smith, Rogers Stevens, Christopher Thorn and Travis Warren) and Camp Freddy (Chris Chaney, Donovan Leitch, Billy Morrison and Matt Sorum) featuring Slash on guitar, along with special guests Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) and Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), have been added to the lineup for the fourth annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert. The event will honor legendary artist Alice Cooper and renowned guitarist Slash on May 9 at the Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood, Calif. All proceeds will benefit the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment regardless of their financial situation. The benefit is sponsored in part by the Gibson Foundation. Tickets are offered at three price levels: floor placement in a private living room grouping of 10 for $12,500; floor seating for $1,000 each; and balcony seating for $100 each. | Yeah...hence the $20 ticket at the Roxy. I love the guys, but there's no way to sneak into 'those' events. House of Blues is one thing... but not that gig.
With any luck tho, sometime this month, I'm betting I see that same line up, and for $20.

| Thrashed but happy. Here we go. I'll have pictures later.
I was basically one back from the stage. Dead center. Happy girl am I. The two girls directly in front of me were 'freddy virgins' and it couldn't have gone better for them. Dave grabbed onto one of their heads, and the other was brought up on stage to rock out a bit. Much fun.
CF opened with Cheap Trick's Hello There followed by Blur's Song Two. Mark McGrath came on with Killing Jokes Eighties. Poe (see Poe.org) sang Led Zep's Good Times Bad Times (and yanked Emily up on stage with her), then crowd surfed for a moment or two. Then Nuno Bettencourt. Ahah... happy.
Nuno just shredded Oasis' Rock And Roll Star(McGrath singing) and Suffragette City (Billy singing). Warren De Martini came onstage for Round And Round then a surprise visit from Jerry Cantrell for Jailbreak.
The highlight for me was not one....but two ORIGINAL SEX PISTOLS, Steve Jones (who does most CF shows) and Paul Cook with EMI (both Paul & Matt played... I was in heaven).
Lemmy (Motorhead) came on with Ace Of Spades, then continued along with Corey Parks and Paul Cook (as well as matt & Chris) for Eddie Cochrans Something Else PLUS Billy, Navarro and Jonesy on guitars. A very full stage. Show ended with a CF standard, Iggy Pop's I Wanna Be Your Dog with everyone onstage.
So...no Juliette Lewis (I was looking forward to that) or Terri Nunn, or Brett Scallions or a few others. All things can and will change on a daily basis with these guys. I imagine I'll see them in a different show.
Anywho... I need to do a Rite Aid run for the pics, then I'll post them up. New line up next week, all different songs. Can't wait. On the 15th, the New York group of CF fans is invading for an all out CF representation at the Roxy.

Billy Morrison Mark McGrath Billy M. & Dave Navarro Mark Nuno takes the stage more nuno and more nuno nuno & dave and what the hell...more Nuno Emily rockin' out with Poe Warren DeMartini Jerry Cantrell Matt's wonderful rear view.... Jonesy I Wanna Be Your Dog
