Rock Stars Fans Want To Bring Back To Life

A little bit of a weird topic, but...here it is.

The results of a poll conducted by the ThisDayInMusic.com web site — which asked its readers the question "Which dead rock star you would bring back to life for one gig?" — have been released. LED ZEPPELIN's John Bonham was voted into first place with 26% of the votes. QUEEN's Freddie Mercury came second with 22% and Elvis Presley third with 10% of the votes.

Bonnham died at age 32 after a heavy drinking session. Bonzo was found dead at guitarist Jimmy Page's house of what was described as "asphyxiation, after inhaling his own vomit after excessive vodka consumption." (40 shots in 4 hours).

The highest-placed female act was the U.S. singer Janis Joplin, who died from an accidental drug overdose in 1970.

I'd have to have voted for John Lennon. Besides the great music we've all missed because he's gone, I'd love to have his take on the current political situation.

That's ridiculous! I'd like to bring him back to life, just to see if he could break his 40 shot record, and increase it to 60, and die again!
